1) Absent Minded Professor

We’ve all been there: You’re running late, but wait, your keys! Uh oh, AND your glasses! You spend 15 minutes frantically searching under your couch, in the bathroom, and even the kitchen cupboards only to realize they were on your head all along. For those of us who aren’t incredibly organized, and maybe even a little bit frazzled (especially before our morning coffee), glasses can tack on unnecessary minutes to your morning routine. Let’s face it, locating your keys on a hectic morning is difficult enough! If you frequently suffer from ‘glasses on the head’ syndrome, it’s time to consider LASIK!

2) Sports Nut

While everyone else is relaxing on the weekends, are you the person going for hikes, joining intramural sports teams and planning your next camping trip? If so, you don’t need us to tell you that glasses can be such a pain for the actively inclined. Unless they’re cycling glasses, all lenses do is hold you back from your best performance! You don’t need anything hampering your running times or the game-winning goal. If you’re an avid athlete and are looking to give your best performance for years to come, it’s time to consider LASIK!

3) The Curse of Contact Lenses

In theory, contact lenses are a wonderful alternative to glasses. They’re non-permanent, aesthetically pleasing, and can even change your eye colour if you so desire! However, it’s never quite that easy with contact lenses. Oftentimes, those who wear contacts suffer from dry eyes and find that they experience irritation. Additionally, the last thing you need while in a rush is the struggle of putting in your contacts, or worse, looking for a lost one on the bathroom floor! If that’s not annoying enough, there’s the additional burden of packing contact lens solution and your case for any overnight stay you have. If you’re tired of dry eyes, lost contacts on the bathroom floor, and one less pair of shoes in your suitcase due to contact lens necessities, then it may be time to consider LASIK!

4) It That An 8 or a 0?

Is your eyesight at the point where doing simple activities like getting up to go to the washroom in the middle of the night or simply reading the alarm clock in the morning requires glasses? More than being extremely annoying, it’s also a safety risk. Just imagine the ease of waking up in the morning and clearly reading your clock, grabbing a midnight snack and not tripping down the stairs, or simply experiencing life without lenses. If you’re ready to make life a little less difficult for yourself, then maybe it’s time for you to consider LASIK!

5) One Word: Kids

If you’re a parent, then you’ve surely experienced the frantic scramble for lost glasses, the misplaced contact lens case, and trying to put your contacts in while also ensuring your kids are actually out of bed and dressed. Juggling 5 things while also trying to manage the necessities for good eyesight is almost always a recipe for disaster. For one, children view everything as a toy – glasses included! Glasses become not a necessity for vision, but an accessory in dress-up, or a funny thing to put in the dog’s bed. Cost and necessity are two things that children don’t seem to care much about! If you’re tired of you glasses sliding down your nose and into your baby’s mashed peas, it may be time to consider LASIK!

All in all, LASIK makes the most important aspects of your life just a little bit easier. If you can relate to any of these points, then you should definitely consider LASIK. The first step is determining if you’re a candidate and a setting up a free consultation. So what are you waiting for? Learn more here.
